The sleeping collar is made of a temperature-adapting PUR material. It therefore feels harder/rigid at low temperatures and softer at higher temperatures temperatures.

When stored and transported in cold conditions, the collar will feel stiff when you open the packaging, wait for room temperature before using it! The collar should be stored in a dry environment.

It is important to remember when traveling by car or plane that it is usually cold in the luggage compartment. Therefore, do not press the collar down in a bag/suitcase, as it may be permanently damaged.

The collar must not be folded/compressed, the material may be damaged and the cast device may break.

The collar must not be washed/dry cleaned. You can wipe the collar gently with a tightly wrung cloth, or you can air it out.

When this type of PUR material is exposed to UV light/oxygen, it turns yellow. This is completely natural and has nothing to do with its function.

This also applies indoors. Therefore, always store the collar with the cover on and/or in the storage bag for both cosmetic and hygienic reasons.

All materials in the collar are designed with the fact that it is a close-to-skin product in mind.

This type of material is used in some cases in healthcare to prevent pressure ulcers, even in exclusive pressure-relieving bed products.
