The history of Eezyflow

I have lived with snorers since I was 10 years old. The noise level was sometimes unbearable. This contributed to frustration and many nights on sofas, in the nursery and sometimes I slept under the open sky in the archipelago with the dog instead of on the boat.

Thirty years of frustration and a lot of waking hours contributed to me seeing a pattern. The snoring stopped in certain sleeping positions, usually on my side or stomach with my neck/head slightly stretched back and my mouth closed. An idea to be able to control the sleeping position in a comfortable way matured in 2005.

Product development started and in parallel I asked questions to various doctors/researchers on the subject, attended sleep congresses, conferences and devoted myself to data entry.

I wanted to learn more about snoring, its causes and risks. I gradually discovered that the sleeping position I was aiming for can be compared to a stable side position (prone side position).

The idea was never that this collar would help everyone 100% of the time. But it will help many people reduce their snoring. The cause and extent depend on anatomy, weight, lifestyle, age, how long you have been snoring, and your sleeping position.

I have summarized what I have learned over the years. I hope you take the time to read through this user manual/handbook and find it useful and enjoyable. When you understand why you snore and know what methods you can use, it becomes so much easier to do something about the situation.

Freer airways reduce/eliminate snoring.

Wishing you a good night's sleep,
